Your activity stream is now live on your public profile page! The activity stream displays updates on the following actions and events:

1. Polls you’ve created
2. Opinion topics you’ve created
3. Votes you cast
4. Opinions you’ve written
5. Members you’ve started following
6. Updates to your social level
7. Completion of your profile
8. Updated profile picture

The activity stream, combined with the recently launched “Follow” feature- the perfect way to keep up to date with all of the content and news from your favourite Toluna members!

As many of you have noticed, there have been problems over the past few days accessing opinion topics and posting opinions. We are working around the clock to resolve this complex technical issue; it should be taken care of very shortly.

We are very happy to announce the addition of two new major features to Toluna, features which will take the Toluna community to a whole new level!

Members of the Toluna community can now:

Follow each other!

We all have our favourite Toluna members- members whose polls, topics and opinions are of greater interest to us. It is now easier than ever to keep up with your fellow members- Follow!

How does it work?

We’ve added a “Follow” button to each member’s public profile page (the button appears under the member’s ranking and social level on the upper right corner of the page). Once you choose to follow a member, they will appear on your profile page; this means you now have quick and easy access to your favourite members- a great new way to keep up with their latest content! So next time you’re browsing content on the site and you come across an interesting poll or topic, make sure to click on the creating member’s username- this will take you to their profile page so you can start following them!

• You can stop following members at any time- simply click on their username and on their profile page click “Remove”.
• You can view the complete list of members you are following as well as members who are following you on your profile page.

Message each other!

Toluna members asked- and here it is, the Toluna messaging system!

Want to leave your fellow Toluna members a message? Now you can! On each member’s profile page you’ll find the public messages; type in your message, click “Send” and you’re done! You don’t have to follow a member in order to leave them a message, but please note the following:

• Messages are public- anything you write will be visible to the entire Toluna community.
• You can control and edit the messages on your profile page: when you mouse over a message, a red button appears on the upper right corner- click it, and several options will be displayed, which allow you to delete messages or block members from messaging you.
• Please be mindful of our rules and use the messaging system respectfully- abusive messages will not be tolerated.

Coming soon- Your activity stream!

As some of you may have already noticed, the top of your profile page now contains your Activity Stream. This feature is currently inactive- once it goes live we will update you with further details.

For the moment the Love2Shop voucher option is still not available; it will be restored shortly. Members who have ordered Love2Shop vouchers, please rest assured that all orders are registered and will be sent out.

Further, we have noticed that some members cannot see all their voucher orders on their reward page. This too is a temporary problem and will be fixed very soon.

Dear members,

Most of you have noticed that during the last few days, there has been a bug regarding points, which resulted in opinions being credited several times.

This bug has been fixed and the multi-credits have been removed.

Over the past 48 hours we’ve been working hard to bring you the latest batch of improvements to Toluna; as you’ve surely noticed, Toluna has undergone a major redesign meant to make your Toluna experience better, faster and more interesting! Here is an overview of what has changed and what’s new:

Share your polls with members of other social networks!

You can now share your polls not only with the Toluna Community but also with your friends from other social networks! After creating a poll follow these simple steps:

• Go to the poll page (you are automatically redirected to the poll page at the completion of the poll creation process- if you’re sharing your poll at a later time you will need to access the poll page by clicking on your poll question). Under your poll you will find the “Share this poll” links.
• Select a social network from these options: Facebook, MySpace, Twitter or Digg.
• After you click your selection you will be redirected to the relevant site (you may be required to login to your account) – follow the onscreen instructions and share your poll with the world!

Personal recommendations:

On the home page, right under your dashboard, you will find your personal recommendations; polls and topics selected specifically for you based on your personal preferences and interests!

Set you country and language preferences:

You can now select both the countries and the languages from which you want to view content on Toluna. Here’s how to do it:

• From the “You” menu select “Your Account”
• Select “Languages preferences” from the menu on the left of the page
• Select the country you would like to see content from; by default this setting is The UK, but you can select any other country from the list or “Any country”
• Select the language you would like to see content in; you can select as many languages as you’d like!
• Click “Submit” and you’re done; next time you browse polls or opinion topic your new setting will be in effect.
