Japan Earthquake and Tsunami – Donate points to the Red Cross Relief effort and Toluna will match your donation

On March 11th, 2011, a 9.0 magnitude earthquake and subsequent Tsunami hit Japan causing extensive damage and disaster for many people. At this time more than ever our thoughts and prayers are with the people of Japan and the other survivors of the earthquake and tsunami.

The Red Cross has extensive experience in disaster relief and decisive first hand information so important when reacting to a crisis. As a direct response to the situation, Toluna will be actively accepting donations from members to put towards the Japanese Red Cross in support of the disaster relief efforts currently ongoing.

Members will be able to make a donation starting from as little as 100 points to the Red Cross, keeping in mind the importance of any gesture in this relief effort.

Once donations will reach a value of $5000 USD, Toluna will match the generous contributions of our members by donating a further $5000 USD to the Japanese Red Cross.

Members will be able to donate as from tomorrow on the Reward Page to share the support of our international community with those affected.

Once again our thoughts and condolences are with the people of Japan.
The Toluna Team
